Gaelen J. Morphet, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in investment management, family office advisory, and corporate governance.

She has served as a Director since January 2018 and was appointed Chair of the Board effective April 1, 2025, having previously served as Lead Director from November 2024 to April 2025.

Since November 2022, Ms. Morphet has been President of Morphet Family Wealth Advisors Inc., where she advises and manages family offices. Previously, she served as Chief Investment Officer of Cinnamon Investments ULC from 2018 to November 2022. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Sentry Investments, where she oversaw approximately $19 billion in financial assets. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Empire Life Investments and Empire Life Insurance Company. Ms. Morphet has also held a range of board and advisory roles with organizations including CanFirst Capital, CMA Investco, the Ontario Arts Foundation, the AGO Foundation, KingSett Capital, the Ontario Science Centre, and the North York General Hospital Foundation.

Her broad experience across investment management, capital allocation, family offices, and governance brings significant expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and long-term value creation.
