Carl Brown,
Senior Vice President, Investments and Corporate Development, MCAN Financial Group
Carl Brown is responsible for investment strategy, origination and underwriting, capital allocation, liquidity and portfolio management of MCAN’s investment portfolio of more than $2 billion, which comprises construction and commercial loans, marketable securities, and equity investments. With extensive experience in financial services, including balance sheet strategy, corporate governance, treasury, risk management, and corporate finance, he serves on the Executive Leadership Team and works closely with the Board of Directors to support sustainable growth, prudent risk oversight, and long-term shareholder value creation. Mr. Brown holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) based in Toronto.
